Doctor Laurence Walon
Doctor Laurence Walon had a very sporty childhood and adolescence but
medicine was always a true calling for her despite the fact that there were
no doctors at all in her family.
She started studying medicine at the UCL (Cliniques universitaires St-Luc)
in 1994 when she was 18, then she led a successful journey to be granted
access to the Concours de Dermatologie in 2001 and become a dermatologist in
2005.
Doctor Walon started to work by filling a position in a hospital (the
CHIREC) and combining it with her private practice in Waterloo.
Ayant toujours été attirée par le côté esthétique de la Dermatologie, le
Docteur Walon se lance assez rapidement dans différentes formations
complémentaires en Belgique et à l’étranger et devient elle-même formatrice
en Dermatologie Esthétique (collaboration avec le Laboratoire Galderma) il y
a plus de 10 ans, pour les Dermatologues et les Chirurgiens Plasticiens.
Dr. Walon is also an expert practitioner at L’Oréal Paris France since 2020
(Member of the European Committee for Dermatologists, representing Belgium
and France).
